This is the third video of a 6 video series showing you how to brew a Java Stout from the Midwest Supplies Peace Java Stout kit. In this video, we take a hydrometer reading to determine the starting gravity, pitch the yeast, and install the airlock into the primary fermenter. We then jump ahead through space and time, 5 days into the future, right after the primary fermentation has completed it’s most vigorous fermentation. We then grind and brew the coffee beans that came with the kit in a French Press and get it ready to put into the secondary fermenter.
